PLANT TYPES

Indoor Foliage, Succulents & Cacti, Flowering Plants, Herbs & Edibles, Outdoor Plants & Garden, Air Plants & Terrariums

INDOOR FOLIAGE

General Care: Rotate your plants occasionally to ensure even growth and light exposure. Avoid placing plants in direct sunlight for prolonged periods unless specified. Keep plants away from drafts, heaters, or air conditioners to prevent stress. Wipe leaves gently with a damp cloth to remove dust.
Watering Guidelines: Water only when the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry. Ensure pots have proper drainage to prevent root rot. Use room-temperature water for best results.
Fertilizing: Feed foliage plants with balanced houseplant fertilizer during the growing season (spring & summer). Reduce feeding in fall and winter.

SUCCULENTS & CACTI

General Care: Provide bright, indirect sunlight or some direct sun depending on species. Allow soil to dry completely between waterings to prevent root rot.
Watering & Fertilizing: Water sparingly (every 2–3 weeks depending on climate). Fertilize lightly during spring and summer only.

FLOWERING PLANTS

Light & Location: Place near bright windows; most flowering plants need at least 4–6 hours of indirect sunlight.
Watering: Keep soil consistently moist but not soggy. Remove faded flowers and dead leaves to encourage new blooms.
Feeding: Use bloom‑boosting fertilizer during flowering season.

HERBS & EDIBLES

Growing Tips: Use well-draining soil in a sunny location. Harvest leaves regularly to promote growth. Rotate indoor pots for even sunlight exposure.
Watering & Fertilizing: Keep soil evenly moist, but avoid overwatering. Fertilize with an organic, water-soluble fertilizer every 2–4 weeks.

OUTDOOR PLANTS & GARDEN

General Care: Choose the right plant for your climate zone. Water early in the morning to prevent evaporation and fungal growth. Mulch around plants to retain moisture and prevent weeds.
Seasonal Tips: Protect tender plants from frost in winter. Prune dead or damaged branches regularly to promote healthy growth.

AIR PLANTS & TERRARIUMS

Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Avoid direct sunlight for long periods.
Watering: Mist 2–3 times per week or soak briefly in water once a week. Ensure air circulation to prevent rot.
Maintenance: Remove dead or brown leaves to maintain aesthetics and health.
